Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Innovative healing solutions to explore consciousness, awaken to new possibilities, and create lasting transformation in all areas of your life.
What is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) is a legal, evidence-based approach that combines the therapeutic use of ketamine with psychotherapy to support deep healing and transformation. Originally developed as an anesthetic, ketamine is now widely recognized for its effectiveness in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other persistent mental health challenges—especially when traditional therapies haven’t helped.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, KAP works by opening access to deeper layers of the mind through an altered state of consciousness. This expanded awareness, combined with skilled therapeutic support, allows you to gently explore, process, and integrate experiences that may otherwise be difficult to reach.
In a safe, supervised setting, ketamine disrupts stuck thought patterns, softens inner defenses, and invites new insight—helping many clients feel more connected, grounded, and free.
Who it can help
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy may be a good fit if you:
✓ Have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, or existential distress
✓ Haven’t found relief through traditional therapy or medication
✓ Feel stuck in recurring emotional patterns or inner blocks
✓ Are open to expanded states of consciousness as a path to healing
KAP is not for everyone. Your therapist will help assess whether this approach is appropriate for your needs and intentions.
How the Process Works
-
Step 1:
Intake Session
Meet with a therapist to explore your history, clarify your goals, and determine whether KAP is the right fit.
-
Step 2:
Medical Evaluation
A licensed prescriber will review your physical and mental health history, and, if appropriate, provide a ketamine prescription tailored to your treatment plan.
-
Step 3:
Preparatory Sessions (2-4)
These sessions help you identify core themes, set intentions, and prepare emotionally, physically, and spiritually for the medicine experience.
-
Step 4:
Dosing Session (2-3 hours)
During this guided experience, you’ll receive ketamine in a safe, supportive environment. Your therapist will hold space and help you stay grounded as you explore inwards.
-
Step 5:
Integration
Post-session, clients work with therapists to process insights, apply new perspectives, and develop strategies for sustained growth.
Most clients begin with a series of 6-8 dosing sessions, each followed by integration, for the greatest long-term impact.
Three Ways Ketamine Supports Healing
01. The Molecule
Ketamine can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety by promoting neuroplasticity and disrupting rigid mental loops. It may offer relief even at low, sub-psychedelic doses—particularly for those with treatment-resistant conditions.
02. The Psychedelic Experience
At higher doses, ketamine induces a dreamlike state that helps surface subconscious material, unlock creativity, and access your internal healing intelligence. These sessions can bring clarity to longstanding questions, emotional blocks, and spiritual disconnection.
03. Neuroplasticity
The third way ketamine can be helpful is in the days following a session. For three to four days after each medicine session, your mind has serious neuroplasticity. What this means is it is easier for new synaptic connections to occur, and less likely that your thoughts/feelings/behaviors will be forced into the same well-worn groves in your mind that have you stuck in repetition. During the days following treatments, it is important to do lots of journaling, therapy, art, conversations with friends, meditation, walks in the woods, and any new behaviors/thoughts/patterns you hope to establish. This is one of the key ways ketamine can help and must be built into your plans for the days surrounding each treatment if you are to get the most out of this medicine.
