You’re in the Right Place
We’re here to make your next steps feel clear, supportive, and welcoming.
Step 1
Submit An Appointment Request Form
We honor the courage it takes to reach out. This short form helps us understand your needs and preferences so we can support you with care and intention.
Step 2
Thoughtful Matching
After you submit your form, we’ll review your needs and thoughtfully match you with a therapist or wellness provider who aligns with your goals and preferences.
Step 3
Schedule an Appointment
Your matched provider will connect with you directly to ensure a good fit, answer any questions, and schedule your first session.
Curious about what happens in that first session? Here’s what to expect.
How does payment work?
We believe in making your therapy journey as transparent and straightforward as possible. Here's what you need to know about payments, insurance, and scheduling.
Insurance & Payment
Insurance
We accept Health Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Medical Assistance, Optum/Surest, Ucare, United Healthcare, Aetna, Hennepin Health, South County Alliance. If your insurance provider isn't listed, we can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.
Self Pay
Self-pay is an option and offers a flexible, private way to engage in therapy. It allows you to:
Preserve confidentiality without involving insurance
Collaborate on treatment length, goals, and pace—without outside restrictions
Access personalized care, including services not typically covered by insurance
This option puts your healing journey fully in your hands—with care designed around your needs, not a third-party policy.
Fees
Our session rates vary based on the length and type of service provided and any insurance adjustments that may apply.
Intake (Diagnostic) Assessment: $265
Follow-Up Sessions: $145–$225, depending on length and type of appointment.
Couple and Family Sessions: $200
KAP Dosing Sessions: $500
Couples KAP Dosing Session: $555
Group KAP Dosing Sessions: $150 - $350
Group Sessions: $75 - $125
If you're using commercial insurance, your out-of-pocket costs may be lower than our standard rates, as insurance plans determine the rates they reimburse for in-network services.
For the most accurate information, please ask your therapist which services and units they plan to bill, and contact your insurance company to verify your benefits. You may need to provide Soul Centered Therapy’s NPI (1831953645) during the call.
Use of Insurance for KAP Dosing Sessions
If you choose to use insurance for your Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy dosing sessions, here’s what to expect:
Your standard copay or deductible for a psychotherapy session, billed through your insurance.
A $200 medical monitoring fee. This fee is for non-covered services that occur prior to the psychotherapy portion of a KAP session.
Sliding Scale
We offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Eligibility is determined based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines and therapist availability.
Payment Methods
We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA accounts, and other secure payment options.
If you have any questions about pricing, insurance coverage, or sliding-scale options, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected things come up, and we do our best to be flexible while also honoring our time and commitment to all clients.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee ($145 -$250). Unfortunately, insurance does not cover late cancellations or no-shows, so this fee is the client’s responsibility.
How Fees Are Processed
The credit card on file will be charged for late cancellations and missed appointments.
We appreciate your understanding and commitment to this policy—it allows us to offer timely care to all clients who need support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Frequently Asked Questions
We know starting therapy comes with a lot of questions. Here are some quick answers to help you get started:
-
Yes, we accept these insurance providers. If your provider isn’t listed, you may still have out-of-network benefits and can request a superbill for reimbursement.
-
Does Insurance Cover Couples Therapy?
Insurance does not cover couples therapy as a standalone service. The closest billable service is Family Therapy, but whether your insurance considers a couple as a "family unit" depends on your specific plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about Family Therapy benefits.
Can a Partner Be Included in Therapy Sessions?
In some cases, a therapist may invite a partner or family member to participate in sessions—but only if it directly supports the treatment goals of the individual receiving therapy for a mental health diagnosis. These sessions remain focused on the individual's care, not the relationship as a whole.
How Do I Know What My Insurance Will Cover?
Before billing insurance, a diagnostic assessment must be completed to determine whether the individual meets the criteria for a mental health diagnosis. The assessing therapist will then provide guidance on coverage options. If you’re unsure about your benefits, we strongly recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm Family Therapy coverage.
-
If your insurance doesn’t cover therapy, you have the option to pay privately at our standard rates. You can also use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the cost of sessions.
We understand that affordability can be a concern, which is why we offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial eligibility and availability.
Additionally, as part of our training and mentoring program, we are expanding our team to include intern therapists who provide therapy at a reduced rate. They work under the supervision of our highly trained therapists, ensuring high-quality care at a more accessible price.
If you’d like to learn more about sliding-scale options or intern therapist availability, please reach out—we’re happy to help!
-
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee ($145-$200). Insurance does not cover no-shows or late cancellations, so this fee is the client’s responsibility.
-
We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA payments, and ACH bank transfers. Your card on file will be charged on the day of your session.
